Do You Even Know Me?

The Project

This project has two purposes. The first is to show the meaning of diversity. Diversity isn’t only about which country we are from - it is more than that! Age is diversity, as is ethnicity, sexuality, religion, gender, race, ability, and many more aspects of what makes us human. Diversity in all its forms is worth celebrating. We are lucky to be living in a place where no one is the same. Let’s acknowledge our uniqueness and celebrate our differences. Be diverse. Be proud.

The second purpose is to raise awareness about the importance of not judging people based prejudice, stereotypes, and appearances. We all, unintentionally, fall in that trap every once in a while. Each photograph has a personal account in the "Featured Stories" section. Please read each account and think about some ways you might have viewed some of these people based on their appereances and how your views have changed after knowing more about them
