Throughout my life, I have been shaped, judged, and defined by one characteristic: I’m gay. But I’m so much more than that. Behind this flamboyant physique is a person—a human—just like everyone else. I’m more than my sexuality; I’m Nick. Nick is outgoing, blunt, funny, awkward, spontaneous, and he doesn't try to be anyone else but himself. Me being gay is only a single piece to my puzzle, and my puzzle has thousands of pieces. I want people to view my sexuality as no more important than my hair color. Nevertheless, I don’t consider myself “normal” and that’s the way I like it.
