My name is Sandra Nivyabandi. Born to a Burundian father, and Rwandan mother in Rundu, Namibia; I heartily identify myself as a proud African. From an early age I learned at home the fundamental importance of faith, love, family, friendship and obtaining an education from parents that gave me the utmost best; their love and sustained support, and from a young sister that inspired me from her tender age. I grow and I experience, and I think deeply. I love, and I lose. I have, and I lack. I fail, and I pass. I fall, and I stand. All there is to me and my story is that there is more to me and my story than you can see. This extends out to the sounds of the waves that I enjoy listening to, to the stars that I love gazing at. In everything, I know where I have been, where I am and where I want to go. In everything I treasure the people that make my journey possible, and the people that journey with me. In everything I value what is.
